WHAT IS NARCISSISM?
Narcissism is a personality disorder that falls on the spectrum. You can have some empathy and tendencies all the way to a malignant personality disorder. So, even if someone is not meeting all of the criteria for the personality disorder they can have narcissistic tendencies that can be damaging to the people around them. Here are seven criteria tell if someone has narcissistic tendencies. If your person has five of the seven chances are they may have this personality disorder or at least tendencies.
1. Lack of empathy
2. Narcissistic rage (overt or covert))
3. Entitlement
4. Superficiality
5 Grandiose (overt or overtly)
6. Arrogance (overt or covert)
7. Need for adoration
